Channel History:
- BBC Three - A free to air television channel operated by the BBC. It was launched on February 9th 2003 and was a replacement for BBC Choice. It was meant to show 'innovative programming and is aimed at a target audience of 16-34 years old.
- E4 - A free to air television channel operated by Channel 4. It is primarily targeted towards the 16-34 year age group. It was a paid television channel from 2001-2004, when channel 4 announced that it would be free to watch.
Summary of Content:
- BBC Three - Mostly covers all genres, including comedy, animation, drama etc., whilst occasionally airing the sports on many occasions.
- E4 - Similar to BBC Three, the channel basically covers every genres, including current affairs, drama and comedy.

- BBC Three - the company's remit it to provide their audiences with 'innovative programming' to their viewers
- E4 - Their mission is to "Do It First, Make Trouble, And Inspire Change", and that they will be distinct from other channels in it's range of voices, opinions, genres and formats.

- BBC Three - The most popular programmes at the moment are titles such as Normal People, This Country, Back To Life, In My Skin and The Young Offenders.
- E4 - The most popular recent programmes are Married At First Sight Australia, The Celebrity Circle For Stand Up To Cancer, Gogglebox, Hollyoaks, Teen First Dated and TaskMaster.

- BBC Three - Examples of similar programmes include The Terror, DNA, The Disappearance, Spiral, The Valhalla Murders, Keeping Faith, Luther and McMafia - These two in particular have a similar idea to my brief, as McMafia is based on revenge.
- E4 - Examples pf similar programmes include Amsterdam Vice, Deutschland 86 and 83, Bullets, Locked Up, Deadwater Fell, Monster, Stockholm Requiem, Killer by the Lake and 13 Commandments.
